New Instrumentation For Early Detection of Glaucoma...
The Zeiss-Humphrey GDx VCC is our newest addition in the fight against glaucoma and other optic neuropathies.

This fast, non-invasive test uses scanning laser interferometry to measure the density of the retinal nerve fiber layer, giving your doctor a structural view of the nerves which make up the optic nerve in each eye. This helps determine the symmetry of the two eyes' optic nerve structure, and helps the doctor diagnose glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, and other optic neuropathies, sometimes even before any functional visual field loss has occured.
